Google releases stock Android Keyboard on Google Play


Google has finally released the stock Android 4.2 keyboard on Google Play. This brings Gesture Typing that lets you glide through letters to form a word, automatic error correction, and word predictions. It offers dynamic floating preview that lets you see suggested works while gesturing and floating gesture trail. Other features include, Voice Typing, dictionaries for 26 languages, Advanced keyboard layouts that also suits tablets and more.

There are lot of keyboards such as SwiftKey, TouchPal, Swype etc. but this one would be useful for Android 4.0 and 4.1 users who prefer stock keyboard with additional features.

The Google keyboard is now available from Google Play (for devices running Android 4.0 and above). But it has country restrictions, so you cannot install it in India.Google promises that they’ll be adding more countries soon. If you can’t wait, grab the APK (via Android Police) and side load it on your Android phone.
