Nokia unveiled the Lumia 630 earlier this year in single SIM and dual SIM variants. Today Nokia Lumia 636 and Lumia 638, the first smartphones with 4G TD-LTE support have been announced in China. Unlike 512MB RAM on the Lumia 630, these have 1GB of RAM. Other specifications of these smartphones are similar, including a 4.5-inch FWVGA ClearBlack IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and Windows Phone 8.1. LINE had released Line Selfie Sticker app for iPhone which lets users create selfie sticker. This means a user can take their own photo aka ‘selfie’ and choose from over 130 character templates. Finally, they have to fit the illustration to the original picture and tap it when they are done.

Xiaomi announced Hongmi, a budget smartphone back in July last year. It was introduced in international markets as Redmi. Due to its aggressive pricing the smartphone was hugely successful in China and other markets where it was introduced. Adobe has released a major update to its web media player and runtime platform. It has rolled out Adobe Flash Player 14.0 and Adobe AIR 14.0. The version 14 of the AIR runtime has been updated with support for Intel x86 Android devices along with Gamepad support for web games as it promised recently. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD display at 403 PPI with Gorilla Glass 3, powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core (MSM8974AB) processor and runs on ColorOS 1.2.0 based on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has the same 13-megapixel camera Sony IMX214 stacked sensor with 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture present on the Find 7 and uses software enhancements to capture images at 50-megapixel (8,160 x 6,120 pixels) resolution. Alibaba has acquired mobile browser maker UC Web for an undisclosed sum. The Chinese e-commerce giant already owned 66 percent of UC Web, maker of the popular UC Browser. The deal is said to be a mixture of cash and stock. Both of the companies are touting the deal as biggest deal in Chinese internet history.

Samsung is reportedly developing a foldable tablet that allegedly be launched in 2015. The tablet can be folded twice to turn into a size of a smartphone, according a report from a Korean Media. Samsung also showcased a bendable tablet at the Mobile World Congress, and back in 2012, Samsung filed for a patent which tells us about a potential foldable tablet.
