ZTE Blade L3 with 5-inch qHD display, Android 5.0 announced

ZTE has announced Blade L3, the company’s latest smartphone in the L series. It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. ZTE unveiled the Blade S6 in the S series with a Snapdragon 615 SoC, 4G LTE and a 13MP camera at just US$ 249.99 (Rs. 15,370 approx) recently. Google reports $66 billion revenue for 2014, net income for Q4 2014 $4.76 billion

Google has announced earnings for Q4 of 2014. The company’s revenue for Q4 was $18.1 billion, up from $16.86 billion one year ago, and net income of $4.76 billion was up 40 percent over a year ago, when the company pulled in $3.38 billion in profits.

Huawei to launch wearable devices at MWC 2015 [Updated]

[Update: Jerry Huang, Director of Marketing Communications, confirmed that the company is looking at introducing an Android Wear smartwatch that will be different to anything else on the market. The company is looking to a fashionable design and is aiming to integrate the smartwatch into average lives as well as appealing to tech savvy customers as well. Huawei also confirmed that it will release an update to Talkband B1 and a new fitness tracker at the MWC along with the Android Wear watch.]

We’re currently in Shenzhen on a tour of Huawei’s Chinese factories and operations and the company has confirmed to us today that they plan to launch new wearable devices at MWC 2015. The company hasn’t confirmed exact details but according to a slide we’ve seen from the PR Director, the wearable plans potentially include a smartwatch running on the Android Wear operating system, a Huawei companion application and a platform to run their wearable devices.
