YouTube mobile app will soon offer Live Streaming

At the Vidcon event in California, YouTube announced plans to bring live streaming right into the main Youtube mobile app which means that the world’s largest video site will now take on FaceBook Live and Periscope. You need to just tap the capture button within the app, select a thumbnail, pick a title and you would go live.

Periscope and GoPro have partnered to bring live streaming videos to GoPro’s action cameras. Users of the Twitter owned live streaming platform on iOS can now broadcast live directly from their GoPro HERO4 Black or Silver camera.

Periscope, the popular live streaming app from Twitter is working on an app for Apple TV, as per a latest report from TechCrunch. The Periscope app will be available on a standalone app store that will be present for the Apple TV.
