SwitKey has finally released a new beta version of the Android app after a long time, after they have made it free. The first v5.1 Beta version adds 13 new Indian languages including, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Nepali and Sinhala (Indo-Aryan language family). Ericsson partners with Airtel for 4G LTE rollout

Ericsson, leading provider of communications technology and services has partnered with Airtel for 4G network services for the 4G LTE rollout in India. Airtel had already partnered with Huawei and ZTE for 4G rollout in the past. Ericsson also announced that it would launch Radio Dot System and the RBS6402 picocell in India and enter into Small Cell Portfolio in the country. These would enable Indian telecom operators to optimize indoor coverage.

Gameloft unveiled Cars: Fast As Lightning a dual-genre racing and simulation game at the E3 2014 back in June. Now the game is available for download for Android and iOS platforms and would be available for Windows Phone soon. The game is inspired by Disney Pixar’s popular “Cars” animated movie franchise. It offers unique storytelling and the official voice of Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson).

Celkon has launched Campus Nova A352E, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Campus series. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA, has 2G (EDGE) connectivity and dual SIM support, similar to the Celkon Campus One A354C that went on sale earlier this week, but this runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor . Google introduces $50/year subscription and new features for Chromebooks for Work

Google has announced a bunch of new features to enhance its Chromebook offerings for Work. For starters a new $50 per year subscription is launched for businesses. Users can either pay a one-time fee of $150 in order to access the advanced Chrome OS support and management features or opt for the $50 per device/year option instead.
