Volkswagon revealed at CES 2015 that it will launch Android Auto support later this year. The automaker has stated that its next generation modular infotainment platform (MIB II) will include support for Apple’s CarPlay and Android Auto.

Kodak has announced IM5, the company’s latest Android smartphone built by Bullitt Group, as promised at the CES, but it is not a camera-centric smartphone and has only 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is upgradable to Android Lollipop later this year. HTC has unveiled the Desire 826, the company’s latest phablet at the CES 2015 as expected. It has the 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, compared to HD display on Desire 816 and Desire 820, but this is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) and has Adreno 405 GPU, similar to the Desire 820.
