Ola S1 Pro Sport with 152kmph top speed, up to 320km range launched

Ola Electric introduced the S1 Pro Sport at its Sankalp 2025 event, describing it as an “All-Rounder. All Sport.”

Exterior and Design

The scooter adopts a dynamic, aerodynamic profile with sporty accents. It features Aggressive Wings and a carbon fibre Slipstream Grab Handle. Color and finish options include glossy, matte, and six shades: Porcelain White, Jet Black, Silver, Passion Red, Stellar Blue, and Midnight Blue.

Additional styling details comprise a carbon fibre front fender, a reworked scooped seat, a compact windscreen, and a sport-oriented apron. Vectorflow Vents are integrated to optimize airflow and riding comfort. Vertical stripes and sharp edges define its Bold Street Stance, while all-LED lighting with a new DRL signature completes the look.

Performance Specifications

Power comes from Ola’s in-house 13 kW Ferrite motor, delivering 16 kW peak power and 71 Nm torque. The scooter accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 152 km/h.

Battery configurations include a 5.2 kWh pack using Ola’s own 4680 Bharat cells, providing a claimed IDC range of 320 km per charge. A 4 kWh option is also available.

The Bharat cell is described as India’s first “dry electrode lithium-ion cell,” developed and manufactured by Indians at Ola’s Gigafactory. These cells offer higher energy density, improved capacity, and can charge from 20% to 80% in just 15 minutes.

According to the company, this technology forms a platform for future cells and is intended for use in both vehicles and energy storage systems.

Safety and Technology

The S1 Pro Sport incorporates advanced safety systems and technology:

  • A front-facing ADAS camera supports collision alerts, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and speed warnings. It also functions as a dashcam and security monitor.
  • Braking is managed by dual-channel ABS with lean-angle modulation and Brake-by-Wire, supported by Assisted Braking for improved safety.
  • Suspension includes telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload.
  • 14-inch alloy wheels with wide tyres improve grip and stability.

The forthcoming MoveOS 6 platform, launching in early 2026, introduces voice assistant, smart charging, predictive maintenance, custom ride modes, and extended telemetry. A 7-inch touchscreen offers navigation, hazard alerts, and performance data, with optional AR Helmet support for real-time racing line guidance.
