Gionee just announced the Marathon M5, the company’s latest smartphone in the M series with a 6020mAh battery using two 3010 battery cells. Gionee promises up to 62 hours of standby even if the phone has only 5% of power left. It has fast dual charging chips and can also be used to charge other devices. It has unibody metal build with a narrow frame and is just 8.5mm thick (4.75mm edge), even though it packs a huge battery. Coolpad launched the Dazen X7 smartphone in India last month. We brought you the hands-on impressions and its unboxing recently, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595M processor which as four ARM Cortex-A17 cores clocked at 2GHz per core and four ARM Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.69GHz per core, based on ARM big.LITTLE and 28nm HPM process. It has PowerVR 6200 GPU, 2GB RAM comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat) with Cool UI 6 on top.
