Samsung launched the Galaxy Note5 smartphone in India earlier month for Rs. 53,900. We brought the review of the smartphone recently, here we have its benchmarks. The Galaxy Note5 is powered by an Octa-Core 14 nm Exynos 7420 SoC which has four larger ARM Cortex A57 CPUs clocked at 2.1GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 CPUs clocked at 1.5GHz per core, similar to the Galaxy S6 edge+. It has Mali T760 MP8 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Samsung’s own UI on the top. Videocon has launched Infinium Z51Q Star and Infinium Z51 Punch, the company’s latest budget 3G smartphones in the Infinium series. These pack a 5-inch FWVGA display, Android 4.4 (KitKat) and 1.2GHz quad-core SoCs. The Z51Q Star has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2000mAh battery, while the Z51 Punch comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery. Huawei Honor 5X with 3GB RAM, fingerprint sensor and metal unibody design surfaces

Huawei Honor 5X (KIW-AL10), successor of last year’s Honor 4X has surfaced (Via) on AnTuTu and TENAA. Unlike the Honor 4X’s polycarbonate body, this has a metal unibody design and also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone managed to score 20916 points in the AnTuTu Benchmark. Google increases APK size limit on Play Store to 100MB

Google has increased the file size limitation for the APKs submitted on the Google Play Store. The company has doubled the Android app size limit on the Play store from 50MB to 100MB.

The Blackphone 2 has a more powerful hardware, improved design and the company has put more focus on security. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Silent OS based on Android Lollipop. Samsung Galaxy Note5 Review

Every year at IFA, Samsung unveils one of the most awaited smartphones of the year, the new Note smartphone. The first Galaxy Note smartphone was met with a lot of criticism from many users and bloggers alike for being too big and being too similar to the Galaxy S II in many aspects. Many predicted that the device would fail. Since then, the Note series has come a long way. The Galaxy Note5 is the fifth iteration in the Galaxy lineup of devices. It is probably the best example of the kind of engineering and power packed smartphones that Samsung is able to produce. This year, Samsung announced the Note5 earlier than usual prior to IFA which is its usual stomping ground in an attempt to enter the market prior to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Alongside it came the Galaxy S6 edge+ which is a larger version of the S6 edge with an extra gig of RAM and a larger battery.

Google will introduce the LG-made Nexus 5X and Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphones at an event in San Francisco in a few hours. Earlier rumors said that the LG Nexus 5X will start at $399, now a new report from Android Police says that the Nexus 5X will be priced from $379.99 (Rs. 25,250 approximately) onwards. Apple sells record 13 million iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus units in 3 days

Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the company’s latest smartphones went on sale in 12 countries last Friday, September 25th. Today the Cupertino giant announced that it has sold record-breaking 13 million iPhone 6s and 6s Plus models in just three days after the launch. Last year’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models saw combined sales of 10 million units in three days after the launch. Apple today confirmed that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones will go on sale in India on October 16th, along with Malaysia and Turkey, as expected. It went on sale in 12 countries – Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK and the US on September 25th.
