Google just launched its Daydream View VR headset in India. This lets users experience sports, live events and more in full 360° panoramic view. Indian users can also watch shows and movies, distraction-free, on the headset. DayDream VR is compatible with Pixel, Pixel XL and Moto Z smartphones and will support Galaxy S8 and S8+ soon.

iBall has launched Slide Elan 4G2, the company’s latest tablet with 4G VoLTE support. Even though it doesn’t have an earpiece, it supports voice calling via headphones or a Bluetooth headset. It has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with a single LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Apple has announced that it will soon open its first retail store in Taiwan. The company posted the message on its Taiwan website. The Apple Store will be located in Xinyi District on the ground floor and basement level of Taipei 101 which is the fourth tallest skyscraper in the world. Google has introduced reCAPTCHA Android API that uses an advanced risk analysis engine to protect apps from spam and other abusive actions such as bots. If the service suspects that the user interacting with the app might be a bot instead of a human, it serves a CAPTCHA that a human must solve before the app can continue executing.

With an aim to provide seamless airport entry and check-ins for air travellers, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has launched a digital travel experience initiative called as DigiYatra. The platform will link unique IDs such as Aadhaar, passport or PAN card to the airlines’ booking PNR. After linking UIDs, a digital boarding pass will be created for travellers and the boarding gate, and boarding time details will be sent to their smartphone.
