Xiaomi today announced that it has opened its first Mi Home Store in Coimbatore. This is the third Mi Home store in Tamil Nadu, after two Mi Home Stores in Chennai, and it is the 21st Mi Home Store in India after Mi Home stores in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and Madhya Pradesh. It has also silently opened its 22nd store in Indore.

Xiaomi opened its first Mi Home Store in Chennai at Forum Mall in Vadapalani back in September. Today it has announced that it will open its second Mi Home Store in the city at Express Avenue Mall in Royapettah on November 18th, Saturday. After Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai and Hyderabad, Xiaomi has opened its first Mi Home Store in Mumbai, which is located at Phoenix Market City Mall. The store was inaugurated by founders of Poorvika Mobile. This is the Eighth Mi Home Store in the country after after three Stores in Bengaluru, one in Gurugram, Noida, Chennai and Hyderabad. As it had promised back in May, it now has stores in major Indian cities.

Xiaomi opened India’s first Mi Home Store in Bengaluru back in May, which recorded whopping Rs. 5 crore in revenue in 12 hours on opening day. It already confirmed that it will open stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. It even opened two new Mi Home Stores in Bengaluru last month. Xiaomi just sent out invites for the inauguration of its first Mi Home store in India in Bengaluru, as it had promised last year. Xiaomi’s Mi Home store will be offering a range of products such as portable speakers, power banks, headphones, Mi Band, Mi Air Purifier and more, as mentioned in the invite, but it is not clear if it will sell smartphones at the launch.
