Facebook has rolled out a new Community Help feature to Safety Check which allows users to users to either offer or locate assistance such as food, shelter or transportation during times of crisis. The social network had launched the Safety Check feature in 2014 that enables users to mark them safe thereby letting their friends and family know they were safe during natural disasters.

Google has bagged a deal to provide WiFi across Pune via its Google Station initiative. The company has received WiFi deal for the Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) under which it will offer fast speed WiFi hotspots in the city. Google is out with its monthly Android distribution chart for the month of February. Android Nougat has finally crossed 1 percent mark nearly six months after its release. Nougat is present on just 1.2 percent of android devices of which only 0.9 percent of devices run Nougat 7.0 while Nougat 7.1 runs only on 0.3 percent of devices. HTC today launched HTC 10 evo, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘HTC 10’ series in India. It was introduced back in November last year as the global version of the HTC Bolt and doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack instead it uses USB Type-C audio. It comes with HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio, which scans your ears and the ambient noise around you to adjust audio output to suit your personal hearing capabilities. Huawei’s Honor brand today announced that it will unveil Honor V9, successor of last year’s Honor V8 at an event in Beijing on February 21st. It got certified by TENAA recently that confirms most of the specifications, including a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, 12-megapixel dual rear cameras and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera similar to the Honor V8, but this is expected to powered by Kirin 960 SoC and pack 6GB of RAM. The 3GB RAM version of the smartphone went on sale exclusively on Amazon.in in the first flash sale last Thursday, February 2nd, which went out of stock in a matter of minutes, according to the company.
