Xiaomi launched the Mi Max 2 smartphone with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage in India back in July for Rs. 16999. Last month it launched the 32GB storage version of the phone in the country for Rs. 14,999 and it offered it at an introductory price of Rs. 12999. It usually offers Rs. 2000 temporary discount during festive sales. Today the company has announced a Rs. 1000 permanent price cut for both the versions of the phone. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with 5300mAh battery, Snapdragon 625, 4GB RAM launched in India for Rs. 16999

Xiaomi just launched the Mi Max 2, successor of last year’s Mi Max phablet in India.  It packs a 6.44-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with 0.7mm ultra narrow bezel on the side, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and has a huge 5300mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 along with parallel charging that lets you charge the phone up to 68% in one hour. It promises up to 18 hours of video playback or 57 hours of talk time on a single charge.
