Android creator Andy Rubin has confirmed that the Essential Phone is in “full mass production”. Announced in May, the Essential Phone will finally get a release date sometime next week, said Rubin.
After rumors, LG has confirmed that LG V30 will include an f/1.6 aperture camera and glass lens in the dual camera. It said that it is world’s largest aperture and clearest lens ever to be featured in a smartphone. It will offer 25% more light to the sensor compared to an f/1.8 lens. Panasonic today launched Eluga A3 and A3 Pro smartphones in the ‘A Series’ in India. These have a 5.2-inch HD screen, runs Android 7.0 (Nougat), come with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, fingerprint sensor on the front and pack a 4000mAh battery, but the A3 comes with quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC, while the A3 Pro is powered by Mediatek MT6753 SoC. Google has released Android distribution numbers for the month of August. Android Nougat adoption has increased to 13.5%, up 2% over last month. Nougat 7.0 was up 1.7% to 12.3% while, Nougat 7.1 increased to 1.2% from .9%. It is possible that before next month’s distribution, we will already see the arrival of Android O.
