Airtel which is one of the leading mobile operators in India has started taking Pre-Orders for the Apple iPhone 5 on its website. Airtel is promoting the iPhone 5 on its homepage and has requested interested customers to pre-order the device. The date of availability is mentioned as November 11th 2012 which is a good 10 days later than the previous November 2nd date we have been hearing from distributors.The prices seem to be exactly the same as what we had heard prior to this.
We just told you few hours back that the iPhone 5 was coming to India on November 2nd and also told about the prices at which the iPhone 5 will be selling for in India starting from Rs.45500 for the 16GB model.And now as expected Aircel has starting teasing the iPhone 5 on it’s website. The operator has a coming soon banner for the iPhone 5 on its homepage.Aircel along with Airtel were the official launch partners for the iPhone 4S in India last year.This year though Apple has appointed 2 distributors Ingram Micro and Redington for selling the iPhone 5 in India
Looks like Apple is gearing up to launch the iPhone 5 in India soon. Multiple retailers have started to announce the prices for the latest iPhone.The iPhone 5 might start retailing at Rs.45,500 for the 16GB model. Both White and Black versions of the phone are expected to go on sale. But still stocks are extremely limited considering the global demand for the device. Apple had reportedly appointed Ingram Micro and Redington as distributors for the iPhone 5. This was partially confirmed today as we got a press release from Ingram Micro about the same indicating a November 2nd release and now there is a link to a webpage containing the Redington logo which has popped up.

LG Mobile’s upcoming Nexus smartphone has been doing rounds on the internet a lot. And today we have a sweet looking picture of the phone with the iconic Nexus branding on the back thanks to @evleaks. The pictures of this phone had been leaked in the past as the LG E960 but the Nexus branding was missing in those images. Apple unveiled the iPad mini with a 7.9-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) display yesterday. Apple announced that it would be available for Pre-order starting this Friday, October 26th in 33 countries. The iPad Mini WiFi version would go on sale on November 2nd, while the WiFi+Cellular models will go on sale in mid-November first in the US on AT&T , Verizon and Sprint. We decided to do a comparison of the price of the new iPad mini in the USA, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. We have even converted them to Indian Rupees INR for your ready reference. The iPad mini with WiFi is priced at $329, $429 and $529 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions respectively in the U.S., while the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB WiFi + Cellular versions would cost $459, $559 and $659 respectively. Apple announced the iPad mini yesterday along with the 4th Generation iPad. Apple has announced that the iPad mini will be available for Pre-order starting this Friday October 26th in over 30 countries where the company plans to start selling the new iPad mini first.Do find the complete list of countries below. Along with the iPad Mini , Apple has also introduced the new 4th Generation iPad (iPad 4). Apple had launched the previous iPad (iPad 3rd) just 7 months ago in March , and in a surprising move Apple has updated the iPad already. In terms of hardware the new iPad looks almost identical to the iPad 3 but packs the all new Apple A6X chip which is two times faster than the previous A5X chip. The 30-pin connector has been replaced with the new Lightning connector. Apple is also stating improved WiFi performance and additional support for more LTE networks in the latest iPad. At an event in USA today , Apple unveiled a lot of new products and one of the most interesting products announced was the iPad mini which packs a smaller 7.9 inch display. It is almost half as heavy as the iPad 3 and is 20% thinner.Yet Apple claims 10 hours of battery life on this tiny little tablet. As you can see in the picture above , the iPad mini is being held in one hand. It is as thin as a pencil and as heavy as a pad of paper according to Apple. The iPad mini follows the same design language as the iPhone 5 with a glass and metal design. In terms of specs the iPad mini packs dual-core A5 processor, 7.9 inch display with 1024x768px resolution , front and rear cameras. Here we have a great new phone from LG for unboxing – the Optimus G which is one of the best LG phones we have ever played with till now. LG Mobile has been talking a lot about the Optimus G recently and the phone got officially announced last month. In terms of specs the Optimus G is one of the first to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor.It runs on a 1.5GHz quad core processor and packs 2GB of RAM.
