Almost four months after rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Moto Z Play smartphone in India, the company has started Android 7.1.1 update for select users who are in the Moto Z Play soak test program in India and Brazil. The latest update also includes June 2017 security update for the smartphone. The update comes a month after a minor 51.9MB April security update with build number NPNS25.137-24-1-9.
Apple is all set to introduce iOS 11, the next major iOS upgrade for iPhone and iPad, and several new apps at the 28th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Jose, California in the next few hours. Qualcomm introduced Quick Charge 4 last year along with the Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform. Now it has announced Quick Charge 4+ that includes all the benefits of Quick Charge 4 along with three new enhancements such as improved Dual Charge, Intelligent Thermal Balancing and Advanced Safety Features. With these features it can charge up to 15 percent faster, or 30 percent more efficiently when compared to Quick Charge 4, says Qualcomm.
HMD Global launched the 3310 feature phone in India last month, now it has started sending out invites for an event on June 13 where it is expected to launch Nokia 3 and Nokia 5, introduced Nokia 6 Android smartphones. LG has finally launched LG Pay, its own payment service in South Korea, after showing it off at World IT Show 2017 exhibition in COEX last month. It uses Wireless Magnetic Communication (WMC) technology, a magnetic technology that can be used as an ordinary credit card when making offline payments. Motorola has launched its latest Moto C budget smartphone with 4G VoLTE support in India. It was introduced last month and packs a 5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera that also has LED flash.

It has a 5.5-inch 1080p bezel-less display, is powered by an Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Nubia UI 5.0. OnePlus has started rolling out new OxygenOS open betas (Beta 8 for OnePlus 3T and Beta 17 for OnePlus 3) for the 3 and 3T phones that brings several new features including Ambient display 2.0 that brings new implementation of Ambient display, meant to help stop accidental wakes while pulling the phone out of your pocket.
