OPPO Watch with 1.91-inch curved AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 2500 & Apollo 3 dual processors, 4G eSIM support announced

Along with the Find X2 series, OPPO also introduced the company’s first smartwatch, the OPPO Watch in China. The 46mm version has a 1.91-inch 3D flexible AMOLED 326 PPI Retina display with 100% P3 wide color gamut, has 50 meter water resistance and the company says that it has applied for 42 patents for it. The 41mm version has a 1.6-inch 301 PPI AMOLED screen. These have eSIM support for 4G and native calling, thanks to speakers and microphone, feature NFC support for payment and use Snapdragon 2500 & Apollo 3 dual processors. OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro with 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 865, 5G, 48MP triple rear cameras announced

OPPO just announced Find X2 and Find X2 Pro smartphones at an online event, as it had promised.  These phones have a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, feature 2.98mm chin, and just 2.2mm bezel on the top. The phone features a 32-megapixel camera on the front inside a 3.84mm punch hole and the screen is curved 67.8°. The Find X2 series are powered by Snapdragon 865 with 5G support and has triple thermal dissipation that uses thermal conductive gel, vapor chamber liquid cooling and multilayer graphite. Infinix S5 Pro with 6.53-inch Full HD+ display, Android 10, 48MP triple rear cameras, 16MP pop-up front camera launched in India for Rs. 9999

Infinix has launched S5 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the S series in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.53-inch FHD+ no-notch display with 91% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 12nm SoC with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 10 XOS 6.0 Dolphin, has a 48-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait shots and a low-light camera. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back, features a gradient back, comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card lots and packs a 4000mAh battery. Moto G8 with 6.4-inch Max Vision display, Android 10, triple rear cameras announced

After the G8 Plus and G8 Play last year, and Moto G Stylus and Moto G Power last month Motorola has introduced Moto G8, the company’s latest Moto G series phones. It packs a 6.4-inch HD+ Max Vision screen with an 8-megapixel punch-hole camera, is powered by Snapdragon 665 with 4GB of RAM, has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel 2cm macro sensor. HUAWEI P40 Lite E with 6.39-inch punch-hole display, 48MP triple rear cameras announced

HUAWEI has announced P40 Lite E, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in Poland, after introducing the P40 Lite in Spain last week. It has a 6.39-inch HD+ LCD screen with an 8-megapixel in-screen camera, is powered by Kirin 710F SoC with 4GB RAM, runs Android 9 with EMUI 9.1, has a 48-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and 2-megapixel camera for depth sensing in portrait shots. Google to launch its second Cloud Platform region in India in Delhi in 2021

Google launched its first cloud region in India in Mumbai back in 2017 in an aim to improve latency from 20-90% for end users in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and of course Mumbai. Today the company has announced plans to open a Delhi cloud region next year, expanding Google’s existing network of eight regions in Asia Pacific and 22 regions globally today. Along with the realme 6 series, the company also launched the realme Band its first fitness band in India, as it had promised. The realme Band has a 0.96-inch LCD screen, comes with heart rate sensor, has 9 sports modes that includes run, walk, hiking, climbing, yoga, fitness, spinning, bike and cricket mode, and can store 3 modes in the band at a time. It will come with sleep tracking similar to most other bands, and feature built-in charging port. This is a major upgrade compared to the realme 5 since this comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. The phone comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, and 90.60% screen-to-body ratio. It is the first phone to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 720G 8nm SoC. The phone features a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.7″ Samsung GW1 Sensor, an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle lens, 12-megapixel telephoto sensor for up to 20x zoom and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots. Samsung’s latest 8K QLED TVs are world’s first Wi-Fi 6 8K TVs powered by MediaTek chipset

Samsung introduced its new Q900 and Q950 series of 8K QLED TVs with bezel-less Infinity Screen, 5.1 channel surround-sound and more at the CES 2020 earlier this year. HUAWEI said to use IndusOS AppBazaar Android app store on upcoming phones in India

It has been several months since HUAWEI launched a smartphone in India, and HONOR launched the HONOR 9X in January, but with old Kirin 710 SoC and Android Pie. This is due to ban on using Google Play Services on its phones. Now a new report says that it will soon partner with India’s system apps company OSLabs, the maker of IndusOS, to offer a curated Android app store on HUAWEI and HONOR smartphones.
