Micromax has launched Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+ smartphones in the Juice series with a 4000mAh battery. The Canvas Juice 3 went on sale last week. Motorola today announced that it has sold 5.6 million smartphones in India till date. This includes all the Motorola smartphones in Moto G, Moto X and Moto E series. Earlier this year Motorola announced that it had sold 3 million smartphones in the country. It sold 2.6 million smartphones in less than 8 months. Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, after it launched 4G services in Kochi and Kozhikode last month. It launched 4G services in Brahmapur, Odisha recently. Airtel launched 4G services in 296 towns across India last month. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. It was announced back in July and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, is powered by a Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE support and 3630mAh battery. Today the company has announced that all new Canvas LapTab units will come pre-loaded with Windows 10. Microsoft released Windows 10 for all existing users running on Windows 7 and later on July 29th. SanDisk has launched Connect Wireless Stick in India. It is a small USB flash drive that also doubles up as a Wi-Fi media server so that users can access files stored on the drive over multiple devices. The price cut could be the result of upcoming launch of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones that are expected to launch in India next month. Alcatel OneTouch has launched OneTouch Watch, the company’s smartwatch in India on Flipkart. It was introduced at the CES 2015 earlier this year and has a 1.22 inch (240 x 240 pixels) touchscreen display, is powered by a STM429 chipset, runs on proprietary OS and uses a companion app installed on the phone to connect from either iOS or Android. The app allows you to choose the notifications that appear on your watch, adjust your watch face and see health data collected by the watch. Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy J2, the company’s latest entry-level 4G smartphone in India. It has a new Ultra Data Saving mode powered by Opera Max that let users to allow and block individual apps from using mobile data and save data by enabling data optimization. Ultra Data Saving mode promises up to 50% savings in data across all the content and most apps and also frees up to 11% RAM.

Apple is planning to launch the Apple Watch in India next week, according to a report from ET Tech, citing senior trade officials as sources. The report also says that the latest iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones are expected to launch by October 10th or 11th, a month ahead of Diwali. Apple is looking to triple the sales of the new iPhones during the festive quarter, October to December, says the report. OnePlus One was launched exclusively on Amazon.in in India. Back in June, OnePlus started selling the smartphone on Flipkart, today the company has partnered with Snapdeal to sell the smartphone. With Snapdeal’s vast network, the smartphone will be available for over 20 million registered users across over 5000 towns and cities, said the company.
