Despite BlackBerry’s multiple attempts to create a developer ecosystem around the BlackBerry 10 platform, uptake has been slow. The company tried to get around this by offering an Android runtime. Developers were also free to port their Android applications and bring it to the BlackBerry application store. Savvy users could also sideload APK files directly. Amazon has updated their Appstore application for Android to version 5.0 that brings support for nearly 200 countries including India, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and more. This would now let you download apps from the app store by logging in to the US store using your Indian account. You can also download the free app of the day.
