Huawei introduced the Honor 7 smartphone in China back in July and launched it in India in October. Today at the honor event the company introduced an enhanced version of the smartphone that has a smart key to give quick shortcuts. You can give voice commands to facilitate navigation, go running and more. It can only remind you if you have friends within your vicinity. Huawei has partnered with Baidu and will bring Siri-like features. Smart key will bring that up in the future. At the honor event in Shenzhen, China, Huawei announced that it is will release its HiLink SDK in Q2 2016. The HiLink protocol will unify your smart home IOT devices using a unified language. It works via Zigbee, WiFi and Bluetooth. Huawei Honor president George Zhao said that the company will also release Huawei Lite OS with very light kernel and ultra fast startup time of 700ms in Q2 2016. Last month Microsoft announced that it will be downgrading free OneDrive storage from 15 GB to 5 GB for all users and discontinue 15 GB camera roll storage bonus in early 2016. After backlash from users, Microsoft has decided to offer its legacy customers to retain 15GB of storage.
