LG G5 global roll out begins March 31, priced at $799.99 in the US

LG already announced that it will launch its flagship G5 smartphone along with the LG Friends companion devices in United States in early April via major carriers and retailers. Today the company has announced that the smartphone will go on sale globally, including Korea starting from March 31st. It will be available from April 1st in the US through a 2-year contract from Sprint or Verizon at $99 and an unlocked unit without contract will cost $799.99 (Rs. 53,275 approx.), according to an ad. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera that also has LED flash for capturing better images even in low lighting conditions. Xiaomi launched its latest Mi Bluetooth speaker at the Redmi Note 3 launch event in India earlier this month. Now it has announced that the speaker will go on sale in the country in the first flash sale on March 22nd through the official Mi website. SanDisk launched its Connect Wireless Stick in India back in September last year. Now it has launched a 200GB variant of the stick in the country that joins the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. If you don’t know, Connect Wireless Stick is a small USB flash drive that also doubles up as a Wi-Fi media server so that users can access files stored on the drive over multiple devices. Samsung Galaxy S7 Benchmarks – Exynos 8890 Octa

Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S7 smartphone in India last week priced at Rs. 48,900. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by Octa-Core 14 nm Exynos 8890 SoC which has combination of four custom designed CPU cores, two of them clocked at 2.6 GHz per core, other two clocked at 2.3 GHz per core and four ARM Cortex A53 CPUs are clocked at 1.59GHz per core. It has Mali-T880 MP12 GPU and 4GB RAM LPDDR4 RAM. It has a 5.1-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).

The OPPO R9 has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 1.66mm ultra-narrow frame and 77.68% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. The OPPO R9 Plus has a 6-inch 1080p display with 79.3% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor and has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF).
