At the honor event in Shenzhen, China, Huawei announced that it is will release its HiLink SDK in Q2 2016. The HiLink protocol will unify your smart home IOT devices using a unified language. It works via Zigbee, WiFi and Bluetooth. Huawei Honor president George Zhao said that the company will also release Huawei Lite OS with very light kernel and ultra fast startup time of 700ms in Q2 2016. Microsoft now lets you retain 15GB OneDrive storage and 15GB camera roll bonus

Last month Microsoft announced that it will be downgrading free OneDrive storage from 15 GB to 5 GB for all users and discontinue 15 GB camera roll storage bonus in early 2016. After backlash from users, Microsoft has decided to offer its legacy customers to retain 15GB of storage. It also announced that users can also retain their 15GB of camera roll storage bonus that can be claimed until the end of January. Gionee M5 Plus to be announced on Dec 21 – 6-inch 1080p display, fingerprint sensor, 5020mAh battery

Gionee recently announced that it will introduced its new ‘M series’ smartphone, the M5 Plus on December 21st. This is expected to be the GN8001 that got certified by TENAA last month. According to earlier listing the smartphone will come with a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display, pack 3GB of RAM and a 5020mAh battery. Now a new report from China has revealed that the smartphone will come with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.

OnePlus introduced the OnePlus X in Onyx glass back and limited edition Ceramic variants back in October. The OnePlus X Onyx edition priced at Rs. 16,999 went on sale in India and several countries last month with an invite. At the launch the company said that it will make only 10,000 units of the OnePlus X Ceramic version smartphone, now the phone is finally available in Europe with an invite from the official OnePlus Store in several European countries for 269 Euros and in UK for 269 GBP.

Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 2 Prime smartphone in India soon, reveals Amazon.in teaser, which says that #PrimeIsComing. Even though the teaser doesn’t reveal the smartphone, the image of the smartphone resembles the Note 2 Prime. Looks like the Ericsson patent issue is going to be settled soon or the smartphone might come with a different processor. We will have to wait for the launch to find out. Back in October it announced that it will invest over $300 million in Manufacturing, R&D and ID design in India.
