Samsung Galaxy S7 Active with Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, 4000mAh battery announced
Samsung just announced the Galaxy S7 Active for AT&T in the U.S. It has a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Galaxy S7, but this is shatter-resistant, in addition to IP68 ratings for dust and water resistant and has also passed U.S. Military Standard (MIL-STD) 810G tests for a ruggedized phone.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Active specs detailed, could pack 4000mAh battery
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active rugged smartphone had already surfaced in live and press images. Most of the specifications of the phone were already leaked. Now @evleaks (Via Venture Beat) has revealed that the phone will come with a 4000mAh battery, will be 9.9mm thick and weigh 185 grams. It is also expected to come with the same 5.1-inch Quad HD screen instead of 5.5-inch screen as rumored earlier.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Active with 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 820 surfaces in benchmarks
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active (SM-G891A) surfaced in live images few days back, now the smartphone has been spotted on GFXBench listing revealing most of the specifications. This reveals a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, slightly larger than the 5.2-inch screen on the Galaxy S7. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active rugged smartphone surfaces in live images
Reference to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active successor of last year’s Galaxy S6 Active surfaced in official Samsung Level app few weeks back. Now live images of the smartphone have surfaced in Vietnam. According to the images, it will have a camouflage back with IP68 certified casing and will likely be water resistant, similar to the predecessor.
