QiKU already scheduled an event on March 21st to introduce its F4 smartphone, which will launch under Qihoo 360, its parent company.  Now the smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China. This reveals that the smartphone will be powered by a Deca-Core Helio X20 (MT6797) SoC, come with dual SIM support and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Meizu PRO 6 will exclusively be powered by 10-Core Helio X25 SoC

MediaTek today officially introduced its Deca-Core Helio X20 processor at an event in China. At the event Meizu CEO, Yongxiang BAI and MediaTek Vice President & Co-COO, Jeffrey Ju confirmed that the upcoming flagship Meizu PRO 6 smartphone will be exclusively powered by a Deca-Core Helio X25 processor. HCL Care launches exclusive Experience Service Centres for Xiaomi smartphones in 28 cities

HCL Care today announced that it has launched exclusive Experience Service Centres (ESCs) for servicing Xiaomi smartphones, which will act as an extended arm of Xiaomi support. “These service centres will provide one-stop solution for services, accessories and insurance requirements for Xiaomi customers,” said HCL care. LeEco (formerly Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India at Rs. 10,999 earlier this year exclusively on Flipkart. We already brought you the unboxing, benchmarks and the battery life test results, here we have camera samples from the smartphone. The Le 1s has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF and single LED flash. CyanogenMod announces first non-nightly CM13 release for OnePlus One, Moto E (2015) and more

CyanogenMod announced official CM13 nightly builds back in November last year. Today it has announced first non-nightly CM13.0 snapshot release that brings Android 6.0.1 (r17) goodies, alongside the CM features. It has also highlighted different update scenarios and also asks CM 13.0 nightly users not to flash these builds, since they are already on a newer codebase (Android 6.0.1_r22), so attempting to flash these release builds will result in crashes due to attempted database downgrades. Sony PlayStation VR launching worldwide starting October 2016 for $399

Sony today at the annual Game Developers Conference announced that PlayStation VR (PS VR), a virtual reality system that makes use of PlayStation 4 (PS4), will launch from October 2016. It also revealed the the final consumer version of PS VR, including all of the contents that comes in the package, which doesn’t include the Playstation camera ($60) and Move controllers ($50). It has 1.18 in neodymium driver unit  for EXTRA BASS, promises 30 hours of battery life and also has NFC for One-touch pairing. “The adjustable headband’s structure is optimised for deep bass playback, providing a stable fit to minimise vibration caused by punchy bass notes and soft cushion ear pads provide a largely airtight seal for direct bass transmission,” said Sony.

OnePlus 2 gets a permanent Rs. 2000 price cut in India, now starts at Rs. 20999

OnePlus has finally reduced the price of its flagship OnePlus 2 smartphone in India by Rs. 2,000 on Amazon, a month after it reduced the price on its global portal OnePlus.net. To remind you, the OnePlus 2 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant was launched in India at Rs. 24,999 last year and the 16GB variant with 3GB of RAM went on sale earlier this year in the country. LG has officially announced its K8 smartphone, a month after it was listed on its official site. It has also introduced K5 smartphone in the K Series. The K8 packs a 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D curved arc glass, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Over 100,000 Samsung S7 and S7 edge sold in first 2 days in Korea

Samsung started selling the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphones in over 60 countries, including its home-ground Korea starting from March 11th. Korea’s Yonhap News is reporting that Samsung sold more than 100,000 units of Galaxy S7 series of smartphones in South Korea, in first two after the sales started.
