Microsoft and LinkedIn today announced that both have entered into an agreement, under which Microsoft will acquire LinkedIn for $196 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at $26.2 billion. LinkedIn will retain its distinct brand, culture and independence. Jeff Weiner will remain CEO of LinkedIn, reporting to Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Lenovo today launched Yoga Tab 3 Pro, with built-in 70-inch projector and four front-facing JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound technology. The project is present on the 180-degree rotatable edge that can beam life-sized images up to 70-inches onto a wall or ceiling. The Indian variant also has 4G LTE support, 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD expansion slot.

OnePlus 3 imported to India ahead of launch, hints at pricing

OnePlus is all set to launch the flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone in an online VR event tomorrow. The company already confirmed that the phone go on sale in the country without invites, exclusively through Amazon.in from Wednesday, June 15 at 12:30 AM IST. It has already started importing the phone from Hong Kong into India, according to Zauba listing. So far it has imported 24,480 units of the smartphone in Graphite color to Chennai, each priced of Rs. 22,858.

Amazon might launch music streaming service this year to take on Apple Music and Spotify

Amazon is all set to launch its own standalone music streaming service in late summer or early fall, according to a report from Reuters. This will directly compete with Apple Music and Spotify. Amazon’s Alexa-powered virtual assistant Echo plays music from Prime Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, TuneIn, and more. According to the report, the music service will have a tight integration with the Echo and will help it stand out and reinforce the speaker’s appeal. Sony confirms new PlayStation 4 with 4K support, faster processor and improved graphics

Sony has confirmed that it is working on the next-generation PlayStation console, which is an upgraded version of the PlayStation 4. This was confirmed by Andrew House, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment in an interview with the Financial Times. This will supposedly be called the PlayStation 4 Neo, which will have a faster processor, improved graphics and also support for 4K content.
