Meizu just announced M3 Max, the company’s latest phablet at an event in China. It packs a 6-inch 1080p IPS display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Flyme UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) for fast focus in just 0.2 seconds, Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo showcased P2, successor of the Vibe P1 and a entry-level A Plus smartphone at the IFA in Berlin along with the K6, K6 Power and K6 Note. The P2 that had surfaced in benchmarks back in July packs a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor and packs a huge 5100mAh battery with support for 24W quick charge function that can rapidly charge the battery. TP-Link has introduced Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphones at the ongoing IFA this week. Both these have unibody metal design with 2.75mm narrow edges and 0.6-millimeter ultra-slim chamfer, are powered by MediaTek Helio P10 SoCs, run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and have a fingerprint sensor on the back to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. Vodafone launches 4G LTE services in Gujarat

Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Gujarat, as it had promised recently. Vodafone 4G is now available in the prominent business and residential towns of Surat and will be rolled out across Gujarat over the next few months. Earlier this week it launched 4G services in UP East starting with Lucknow. It has a 8.4-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Emotion UI 4.1 on top. It has a 8-megapixel front and rear cameras and has a metal unibody design. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the home button, below the display. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries at the company’s AGM launched Jio services earlier today, which will be available for all starting from September 5. Here is a look at its plans in detail. All the plans come with free unlimited local and STD voice calls to any network, including roaming across India so you just pay for the data. “Jio will put an end to voice call charges in India. No Jio customer will ever have to pay for voice calls again,” said Mukesh Ambani.
