Xiaomi has announced Mi Pay, NFC-based mobile payment service in China, in partnership with China UnionPay, one of the world’s largest payment networks. ZTE has announced Axon 7 mini, a smaller version of the Axon 7 at the IFA 2016. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Huawei has announced MediaPad M3, it’s latest MediaPad tablet at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. It has a 8.4-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Emotion UI 4.1 on top. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries at the company’s AGM launched Jio services earlier today, which will be available for all starting from September 5. Here is a look at its plans in detail. All the plans come with free unlimited local and STD voice calls to any network, including roaming across India so you just pay for the data. “Jio will put an end to voice call charges in India. No Jio customer will ever have to pay for voice calls again,” said Mukesh Ambani.
Huawei just announced Nova and Nova Plus, two new smartphones in the new Nova series at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. The Nova has a 5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display with 1.8mm narrow bezel and 76% screen-to-body ratio, while the Nova Plus comes with a slightly larger 5.5-inch 1080p curved glass display. Both the phones has powered by Snapdragon 625, have a 8-megapixel front-facing camera and come with a fingerprint sensor on the back for unlocking the phone in just 0.3 seconds. It has a 10.1-inch Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, is powered by Intel Atom X5 processor with 4GB of RAM and has magnesium aluminium alloy body.
