Netflix brings “Screen Lock” button for its Android app

Netflix has been rolling out a neat little feature to its android app users called Screen Lock, which as you might have guessed, locks the screen UI elements when viewing content on the app. It can helpful to prevent accidental screen touches that can sometimes lead to fast forwarding unnecessarily, skipping to the next episode or deactivate/activate subtitles.

Samsung launches Blood Pressure Monitoring App for the Galaxy Watches

Samsung’s Galaxy Watches will soon receive yet another functionality that will let users measure and track their blood pressure levels. The Samsung Health Monitor app will first launch on the Galaxy Watch Active 2, using its heart rate sensors to track the users blood pressure once its calibrated with a traditional cuff.

Nokia 9.3 PureView said to feature 120Hz refresh rate display, 108MP rear camera

 

The Nokia 9 PureView is  considered to be Nokia’s flagship and for 2020, nearly all flagships that have been released till now, feature high refresh rate displays. The Nokia 9.3, slated for release in Q4 2020, will apparently also follow the same trend and will likely feature a 120Hz screen, along with a 108MP camera.

Apple releases COVID-19 community mobility data for cities, regions and countries

Recently, Google released a tool that could track the mobility trends of people in communities, regions and cities from the data it aggregated from Maps. The data is useful for local governments and health authorities to track the spread of the virus and now, Apple has come out with their own Mobility trends report that is based on the data it processed from Apple Maps.
