Acer Stream with 1GHz CPU, Android 2.1 , 720p HD video recording

Acer has just launched the Acer Stream during an event in China / Taiwan and the specs looks pretty impressive.The phone is powered by a 1GHz Snap dragon processor and runs on Android 2.1+ Acer UI. The display is a 3.7inch AMOLED touchscreen.

There’s 3G/HSDPA,WiFi(n) ,Bluetooth, mini HDMI. The phone also packs a 5 MP Camera which does 720p HD video recording. The phone is just 11.2mm thick. There is over 2GB of inbuilt memory in addition to a microSD Card slot

Samsung Star Nano 3G lands in India at Price of Rs.7320

Samsung India has launched it’s cheapest 3G touchscreen phone in India the Star Nano 3G. The Star Nano 3G is the latest addition to the Star series which had the Samsung Star and Star3G and WiFi.Samsung is calling this phone ‘My first 3G touch phone’  and is aimed at the youth

g-Fone 571 Dual SIM Blackberry 8900 look-alike for Rs.4000

Seems like  Bright Telecom is perfecting the art of making Blackberry look-alikes. After lauching the gFone G588 , the company has launched yet another Dual SIM handset – g-Fone 571 which bares a lot of resemblance to the Blackberry Curve 8900 aka Javelin. Micromax has launched the X330 a Dual SIM phone which also comes with a Dual LED Torch Light. The phone also packs a MP3 player and FM Radio.   Incase you want to click pictures you can do so with the 2 MegaPixel Camera. Dell Streak Android Tablet hits UK

Dell has finally announced the Android Tablet Dell Streak for UK. It was previous known as the Mini5.  It has a 5 inch display and runs on Android operating system. No word on the Android Version its running or the price. The tablet would be launched by O2 in UK and will be released this summer in USA.

Steve Jobs to deliver Keynote Address at WWDC on June 7th

There was some speculation that Steve Jobs might not be at this years WWDC. Apple just announced that the Apple CEO will deliver the opening keynote address at WWDC the company’s annual developer conference. This announcement puts the rumors to rest. However no sign of new iPhone being announced on the same day. Will Apple have a seperate event for the new iPhone launch ?  June 7th is not too far away. We should find out soon.

Walmart drops iPhone 3GS Price to $97 , 8GB 3G to get axed ?

Looks like Apple is in full swing to clear out unwanted iPhone inventory just before the new version is launched. Walmart has dropped the price of the iPhone 3GS 16GB version to $97 on a 2-year contract.  It is currently selling at $199. BOLT 2.1 Available for Download

Bitstream the company behind the Bolt Mobile Browser has released the 2.1 version of it’s BOLT Browser which was in a Beta for sometime. What’s cool is that the company is claiming that the browser has the best mobile browser video support. If that’s true then its some serious competition for Skyfire.  This version has HTML5 Video support in addition to Flash. Bollywood sites such as hungama and bollywoodhungama are supported.
