Upcoming Nokia Windows Phone 8 phone screen leaked

Nokia has managed to keep a fairly tight lid on its upcoming Windows Phone 8 devices and leaks have been few if any at all. However as the September 5th date approaches, we’re getting a better look at some of the parts leaked via supply chain partner ALPS. We’ve already reported on the leaked Nokia Windows Phone front panel and now we have yet another front panel which has been leaked.

Micromax A100 Android smartphone with 5-inch screen listed online for Rs. 9,999

Rumors have been going around for a while that Micromax is all set to launch its Galaxy Note phablet competitor. While we still don’t have an official reveal, Listings have gone up at popular online shopping portal HomeShop 18 where the A100 is said to be currently out of stock. From what we know, the smartphone will run on Android 4.0 ICS and is equipped with 512MB of RAM.

List of Windows Phone 8 Bluetooth profiles revealed

The Bluetooth SIG has finally posted the Bluetooth profile list supported by Windows Phone 8 and it looks like the number of profiles supported has improved quite a bit compared to Windows Phone 7. Addition of the OBEX (Object Exchange) profile means that the phone should theoretically be able to both send and receive objects though specifics around that remain to be revealed.

As part of its increasing NXT range of phone, Sony seems to be all set to announce the Xperia T as revealed in this set of photos by Nixanbal . The phone which was previously leaked as the Xperia Mint  by Mobile -Review  is powered by the Qualcomm S4 processor.

Microsoft renames Windows Phone Marketplace to Windows Phone Store

As part of its rebranding and simplification efforts, Microsoft plans to rename Windows Phone Marketplace to Windows Phone Store on its smartphones. The new branding is expected to be rolled out with Windows Phone 7.8 on current devices and with Windows Phone 8 on next gen smartphones.

iOS 6 scales apps to rumored iPhone 5 resolution

Next-gen Xiaomi Phone spotted undergoing certification

Last year’s Xiaomi phone created a splash in the media due to the great combination of low price point and high end specs. Looks like the Chinese manufacturer is about to repeat its success with the next generation version. Images and specs revealed during the certification at TENAA suggest that the device going under the code name ‘2012051’ will pack a CDMA radio.
