Micromax has launched Canvas Tab P690, the company’s latest tablet with 3G connectivity via SIM slot and voice calling capabilities. It has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Canvas Tab P666 that was launched last year, but this is powered by a faster quad core 4th generation Intel Atom Processor and has a unibody brushed metal finish. Acer has announced Iconia One 8 B1-830 and Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30, two new tablets powered by powered by a MediaTek SoCs at the Computex 2015. The One 7 B1-760HD has a 7-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek chip and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The Iconia One 8 B1-830 has a 8-inch HD screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek SoC compared to Intel Atom Z3735G chip on the Iconia One 8 B1-820 that was announced last month and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has Acer Precision Plus technology offering highly accurate touch and writing experience.

Asus has introduced new Transformer Book T100HA at the Computex 2015. It will come with Windows 10 out of the box and even has USB 3.1 type C port. It has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD display, is powered by Intel Atom X5 Cherry Trail processor and has 4GB of RAM. It is just 8.45mm thick and weighs 580 grams. Asus has announced ZenPad series at the Computex 2015. This includes a 7-inch ZenPad 7.0, 8-inch ZenPad 8.0 Z380KL (4G) / Z380C (WiFi), ZenPad S 8.0 with optional Z Stylus, and the 10-inch ZenPad 10 with an optional keyboard. All these ZenPad tablets come with Wi-Fi, LTE/3G connectivity and voice calling capabilities. These run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with new ZenUI for tablets. HP Slate 7 VoiceTab Ultra and Slate 8 Plus that appeared last year are coming India soon, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The HP Slate 7 (VoiceTab) Ultra has a 7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, while the Slate 8 Plus comes with a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display. These are powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Huawei HiSilicon processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The have single SIM support with voice calling capabilities and also have 4G LTE support with support for Band 3 and Band 40 for India.
Google had initially sold the Project Tango Tablet Development Kit for US$ 1024 to people who received the invite back in April. But now they have slashed the price in half as it now costs just US$ 512 and is available without an invitation.

Asus has released new teasers ahead of its Computex announcement next week. This hints at the ZenPad tablet with dual layer design on the back with plastic and leather finish, and a slim metal frame. Another teaser shows a part of the back with Asus branding in the center.

A few days back, we showed you the Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 that was leaked from the FCC database. The Asus ZenPad which has a 4:3 screen aspect ratio has now been leaked in a few press photo renders. The device is rumored to be scheduled for an announced at Computex in Taiwan between June 2nd to 5th.

HTC partnered with Google to launch the Nexus 9 tablet last year, but it’s been years HTC launched its own tablet. HTC Flyer was launched in India back in 2011. Recently a mysterious tablet codenamed HTC H7 has been spotted in Indian import/export database Zauba (via) for testing. According to the listing, the tablet has a 7-inch display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
