Back in February we told you that Samsung is aiming to make the Galaxy Tab S2 tablet really thin and that it has set the iPad Air as a benchmark for thickness (or rather lack of it). We just didn’t know how thin it would be and now rumors suggest that the Tab S2 will be just 5.5mm in terms of thickness.

According to a tweet by @OnLeaks, the tablet will measure 237.17 x 169.58 x 5.5 mm for the 9.7 inch model. The tablet is said to have a metal frame and a design that’s inspired by the Galaxy S6. Whether we will get an edge screen and whether the back will be glass remains to be seen.

The tablet will reportedly come in both 8 inch and 9.7 inch sizes with 4:3 screen aspect ratios on both. Both the models are expected to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and will be powered by 64bit Exynos 7 chipsets.
