LG Watch Urbane launching 27th April for £269.99

LG is considered one of the pioneers of the Android Wear smartwatch market and earlier this year, they introduced the new LG Watch Urbane which aims to offer the Android Wear experience in a design resembling a premium quartz watch. Today, UK retailer Clove have announced the Watch Urbane is launching on April 27th and will cost £269.99. LG Watch Urbane LTE launched in Korea

LG unveiled the Watch Urbane LTE at the MWC earlier this month, today LG has launched the smartwatch in Korea. The LTE version of the Urbane smartphone has a new design, runs on LG’s own wearable platform, comes with voLTE voice calling support and also comes with NFC support for easy payments. It has the same 1.3-inch (320 x 320 pixels) P-OLED Display, metal build, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 4GB internal storage and IP67 ratings for dust and water resistance. Vector smartwatch with 30-day battery life announced

Vector has introduced Vector Watch, the company’s first smartwatch at Basel even in Switzerland. It uses memory LCD that promises 30 days of battery life. It is also compatible with with iOS, Android & Windows platforms, says the company. Vector brand is a team by ex CEO of Timex Joe Santana, ex Nike Designer Steve Jarvis and Vector CTO Andrei Pitis. Huawei Watch IFA 2015 Hands On

Huawei took wraps of latest Android Wear smartwatch at its MWC 2015 press event in Barcelona. The wrist gear from Huawei is a direct competition to LG’s Urbane, but is more compact and has bigger, sharper screen. We had a chance to spend some time with the Huawei Watch and here’s our hands-on report.

Huawei is using cold-forged stainless steel to build its smartwatch. The device has a compact 42mm in diameter casing and is about 11.3mm thick. The wearable is quite light when compared to a regular watch. We are happy to report that there’s no gap between and wrist band and the body unlike the LG Watch Urbane.
