Airtel iPhone 5 Plans

The iPhone 5 is launching in India today. Airtel has announced their iPhone 5 plans for both the pre-paid and post-paid customers in India. The pricing for the iPhone 5 in India and the launch date was revealed last week. The iPhone 5 is priced at Rs.45,500 for the 16GB, Rs.52,500 for the 32GB and Rs. 59,500 for the 64GB version. HTC One X+ Benchmarks

HTC launched the One X+ in India today. We got hands-on time with the device and we ran some benchmarks to test the performance of the device. The HTC One X+ is the upgraded version of the One X that we reviewed earlier this year. The HTC One X+ topped some benchmarks including the Quadrant Sunspider when compared to the other quad-core Android Smartphones such as One X, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3, Optimus 4X HD, Optimus G and Optimus Vu. Apple iPad mini Hands on Photo Gallery

Apple unveiled the iPad mini with a 7.9-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) display at 163 ppi and a dual-core A5 processor  last month. I got some hands-on time with the WiFi version of the iPad mini. It went on pre-order on October 26th in over 30 countries and the WiFi version goes on sale in those countries today (November 2nd) and the WiFi + Cellular version would be available by mid-November. The iPad mini with WiFi is priced at $329, $429 and $529 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions respectively, in the U.S., while the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB WiFi + Cellular versions would cost $459, $559 and $659 respectively. HTC Windows Phone 8S launched in India for Rs. 19,260


HTC has launched the Windows Phone 8S, their new Windows Phone 8 device in India as they said last week. It was announced in September and packs in a 4-inch (800x 480 pixels) super LCD display, 1 GHz dual-core processor Snapdragon S4 processor and a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording. HTC Desire SV gets priced at Rs. 22590, available in India this month


HTC India has announced that the Desire SV that was announced today would go on sale in India this month (November). The HTC Desire SV has a 4.3 inch (480 x 800) pixels capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED Flash, Dual SIM and Beats Audio support. It also comes with 25GB free Dropbox storage that is valid for 2 years. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 sales cross 3 million units

Samsung has announced that they have sold over 3 million units of Galaxy Note 2 globally. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note II at IFA in August and launched it in South Korea and India at the end of September. LG Optimus Vu Review

Lenovo launches 5 Android Smartphones in India, priced between Rs. 6499 and Rs. 28499

Lenovo has launched 5 new Android Smartphones, K860, S880, S560, P700i and A60+ in India as we reported previously. The K860 is the high-end Smartphone with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.0 and a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display, while the A60+ is their affordable entry-level Smartphone comes with a 3.5-inch display, Android 2.3 and a 1 GHz processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs Galaxy S3 Compared on Video

Here is a comparison between the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S3. The Galaxy Note 2 was launched in India this September and comes with a 5.5-inch (1,280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor. The Galaxy S3 was launched was launched in India in May and comes with a 4.8 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display and a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Exynos processor. Both these phones have a similar design and Nature UX. The Note 2 runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), while the Galaxy S3 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Jelly Bean update expected to roll out in India very soon .

Karbonn A21 and A9+ with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 officially launched

Karbonn has officially launched their Karbonn Smart A21 and A9+ Android Smartphones under Duple Series. Both these smartphones showed up online last month. These are powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The A21 has a 4.5-inch (540 x 960 pixels) qHD multi-touch capacitive touch screen, while the A9+ has a 4.0-inch (480 × 800 pixels) IPS display.
