Square Enix released Hitman Go for Android yesterday, couple of months after releasing it for the iOS. Today the company has announced a new game called Hitman: Sniper. This would be a competitive sniping game, almost similar to the Hitman: Sniper Challenge developed by Io-Interactive, unlike a puzzle game. Xolo Q1200 with new software features officially announced for Rs. 13999

Xolo Q1200 in the Q-CORE series went on sale online last week. Now Xolo has officially unveiled the smartphone. As we already know, it has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with Dual LED Flash, Sony Exmor R sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Twitter scoops up native ad platform Namo Media

In a bid to expand its reach in mobile advertising, Twitter has acquired native ad firm Namo Media. The actual deal amount is not disclosed by the either of the company but Tech Crunch touts that it is around $50 million. NVIDIA Shield 2 possibly spotted at FCC

An unknown NVIDIA Shield console codenamed P2570 has been spotted at the FCC. This could be the successor of the NVIDIA Shield that surfaced recently on AnTuTu. According to the image on the FCC, it is wider on the sides, probably for a better grip and the bushes are also bigger on the bottom. Asus made a lot of announcements at Computex 2014 event that was held in Taipei and the refreshed Asus MeMO Pad 7 was among the them. Asus announced the upgraded MeMO Pad 7 after an year and in terms of specifications, there isn’t much change except for the fact that the MediaTek processor in the yesteryear model has been replaced by a powerful Intel Atom Z3745 SoC in the latest generation.

Simplocker Android malware encrypts file and demands ransom

A new Android malware is affecting Android phone users in Ukraine by locking their mobile data. Called as Simplocker, the malware scans the device’s SD card or internal storage, encrypting any data files it finds there with a range of extensions, including obvious ones such as .jpg, .doc, .avi, and mp4. It then demands a ransom from them to recover their files.

This also adds new bonus levels, new vehicles such as Orion Crew Vehicle, OSIRIS-REx, Deep Impact and Dawn spacecraft, new Asteroids and Buzz Aldrin bird, named after the Apollo 11 moonwalker for ultimate destruction. At the Computex 2014 event in Taipei, Asus announced a lot of products and among those, is the upgraded Asus MeMO Pad 8. The new Asus MeMO Pad 8 is an upgrade over the yesterday product of the same name. The successor – New Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a very worthy upgrade over the original with a Full HD display, an Intel Atom Z3580 SoC with 2GB RAM, 16GB Internal storage and a microSD card slot. The new MeMO Pad 8 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Nokia Lumia 630 single SIM variant goes on sale in India for Rs. 10500

Nokia launched both the Lumia 630 and the Lumia 630 Dual SIM at an event last month. The Dual SIM variant of the smartphone went on sale few days after the launch. Now the single SIM variant is on sale through the official Nokia Shop in India. Other than the lack of additional SIM card slot, it has similar specifications including a 4.5-inch FWVGA ClearBlack IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and Windows Phone 8.1. Nokia Lumia 630 Camera Samples

The Lumia 630 Dual SIM from Nokia is one of the first devices to be launched with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box, and of course, with a Dual SIM setup. It is a direct successor to the Lumia 620, but takes a different route in terms of the pricing strategy, moving closer to the Lumia 520 rather than the 620. Priced at Rs. 11,500, the device comes with a 5 megapixel camera, but without a LED flash or a secondary microphone to support it. Nokia have clearly gone for price conscious sourcing here, but will the performance beat our expectations? Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (SM-T331) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T531) that were unveiled back in April are now listed on official Samsung India eStore. Both these tablets have 8.0-inch and 10.1-inch WXGA displays with 16:10 screen ratio, powered by 1.2 quad-core processors and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat). These are the the 3G variants of the tablet that comes with voice calling capabilities. These have a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and feature leather-like finish on the back.
