iBall Andi 5Q Cobalt Solus, the latest smartphone in the Cobalt series has been listed on the official website. According to Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,990. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display based on one glass solution (OGS) technology and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), similar to the iBall Andi5S Cobalt3 that was launched last year, but this is powered by a slightly slower 1.4 GHz Octa-Core processor. Microsoft is looking forward to invest in Cyanogen, according to a latest report from The Wall Street Journal. Cyanogen which is the principal backer of the popular, open source CyanogenMod distribution of the Android operating system, which is used in the OnePlus One and YU Yureka smartphone.

ZTE has announced Blade L3, the company’s latest smartphone in the L series. It has a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box. [Update: Jerry Huang, Director of Marketing Communications, confirmed that the company is looking at introducing an Android Wear smartwatch that will be different to anything else on the market. The company is looking to a fashionable design and is aiming to integrate the smartwatch into average lives as well as appealing to tech savvy customers as well. We’re currently in Shenzhen on a tour of Huawei’s Chinese factories and operations and the company has confirmed to us today that they plan to launch new wearable devices at MWC 2015. Videocon has launched Infinium Z40Q Star and Infinium Z50Q Star, two new budget Android smartphones in the Infinium series. The Infinium Z40Q Star has a 4-inch WVGA, while the Infinium Z50Q Star comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display.
