Samsung has launched its mobile payment platform, Samsung Pay in Korea via first public trial. Samsung Pay is currently available to a select group of users with the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones.

Facebook’s Oculus acquires Gesture Recognition firm Pebbles Interfaces

Facebook owned Oculus has scooped up gesture recognition firm Pebbles Interfaces. The financial terms of the deal are not disclosed but as per the Wall Street Journal, the deal is said to be about $60 million.

LG working on F600L – A smartphone with Snapdragon 808 and 4GB RAM

A new benchmark listing shows an LG phone that is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor and also has 4GB of RAM. The LG G4 flagship is also powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor but only has 3GB of RAM so this device could be the rumoured ‘Plus” variant of the G4.

Apple and Samsung said to be in talks to launch e-SIM cards

Apple and Samsung are in talks to adopt e-SIM technology, as per a new ET report. Both the companies are in advanced discussions with mobile carriers to help develop and implement e-SIM cards.

Sony E5706 details surface – Packs a Snapdragon 808 SoC and 5.8″ bezel-less 1080p display
