Sony introduced its Sony Xperia 10 II smartphone in February last year along with the Xperia 1 II flagsip smartphone. Now the CAD renders of is successor, the Xperia 10 III has surfaced online, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a similar design as the predecessor that includes a 6-inch 21:9 aspect ratio CinemaWide no punch-hole or notch display, which will likely come with a FHD+ resolution.. Netflix records 6.64 billion in revenue, 21.5% YoY growth in Q4 2020

Netflix has released their quarterly earnings report to the public, revealing that they earned a revenue of $6.644 billion during the fourth quarter of 2020, and nearly $25 billion in total for the year 2020. They had a net increase of 8.5 million paid memberships in Q4 2022, crossing the 200 million paid membership mark overall.

motorola edge s with Snapdragon 870 to be announced on January 26

Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 870 as an upgrade to Snapdragon 865 Plus yesterday. motorola has confirmed that it will introduce motorola edge with the SoC in China on January 26th. Based on earlier rumours this  is codenamed “nio” and some rumours said that it is expected to be launched under the moto G series. Government of India requests WhatsApp to withdraw their privacy policy update

After WhatsApp’s disastrous rollout of their new privacy policy, which caused many Indian’s to switch to the competition, the Indian Government’s Technology ministry has sent a letter to the WhatsApp, requesting them to withdraw the privacy policy update as it takes away the choice from Indian users.

MediaTek Dimensity 1200 6nm SoC with Dual SIM 5G, up to 168Hz displays and Dimensity 1100 announced

MediaTek just announced Dimensity 1200 and Dimensity 1100, the company’s latest top-end SoCs with built-in 5G. These are the company’s first mobile chips to use TSMC’s 6nm process technology. The Dimensity 1200 has an octa-core CPU designed with an ultra-core Arm Cortex-A78 clocked up to 3GHz for extreme performance, three Arm Cortex-A78 super cores clocked up to 2.6GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2GHz. Samsung 870 Evo SATA SSD with up to 560MB/s read speeds; up to 4TB capacity announced in India

Samsung has announced their next generation SATA SSD for consumers, called the 870 EVO, which will be replacing the 860 EVO SSDs that was launched over two year ago. The new SSDs have capacities up to 4TB, and they utilize Samsung’s new V-NAND and controller, allowing it to reach speeds of 560 and 530MB/s for reads and writes respectively.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G Mobile Platform with up to 3.2GHz CPU clock speed announced

Qualcomm has just announced its latest Snapdragon 870 5G Mobile Platform as an incremental upgrade to the Snapdragon 865 Plus Mobile Platform that was introduced back in July, which was actually an incremental upgrade to Snapdragon 865. This comes after it introduced Snapdragon 888 5nm SoC. This packs Qualcomm Kryo 585 CPU Prime core clock speed at up to 3.2 GHz, which the company says will offer increased performance.
