Redmi K50G with 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, quad speakers, magnetic gaming triggers announced

Redmi just announced the Redmi K50G, the company’s latest top-end gaming phone in the K series in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ flexible OLED screen from CSOT with 120Hz high refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1,920Hz PWM color adjustment, TrueColor and MEMC technology. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, has a 4860mm² large dual vapor chambers and large-area graphite to keep the temperature down. Vi demos 5G VoNR in 5G trials in Gujarat with Nokia

Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has announced that it has successfully demonstrated 5G Voice over New Radio (VoNR) with its technology partner, Nokia, during the ongoing 5G Trials in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Once deployed, the VoNR solution will enable Vi to offer its subscribers high-definition voice experience over 5G, as well as several advanced voice applications and use cases in the future, said the company. Mediatek Dimensity 8100 said to launch on March 1

Details about the Mediatek Dimensity 8000 surfaced last year, and the company teased the chip at the Dimensity 9000 launch in China in December, saying that it will be introduced soon. Today, leaker Digital Chat Station says that the company will launch the Dimensity 8100 on March 1st. This is said to be an overclocked version of the 8000. realme just launched the realme 9 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the realme number series, in India as the successor to last year’s realme 8 Pro. It has a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that can switch between 30Hz/48Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz depending on the content. The phone has 240Hz touch sampling rate. Windows 11 update adds Amazon Appstore Preview, Taskbar improvements and more

Sony has announced LinkBuds (WF-L900) with a unique open ring design, spatial sound technologies, after it surfaced yesterday. Sony said that it will create new sound experiences with its partners, with a focus on AR gaming, sound AR navigation, new work-from-home experiences, and quick access to music. The company said that it is working with Niantic for the popular game “Ingress” to create an even more immersive AR and sound experience.
