Sprint announces LG Marquee, coming on October 2 for $99.99

Sprint USA has announced LG Marquee that has 4 inch bright NOVA display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It features 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel rear-facing autofocus camera with flash and 2 megapixel front-facing camera. The device would also come with Sprint ID and there Sprint ID packs for apps, ringer tones, wallpapers, widgets and more. Vodafone Smart now available in India for Rs. 6695

Vodafone Smart, also known as Vodafone 858 Smart is now available in India. Vodafone has not officially released the phone but it is available for sale on Flipkart. This phone has 2.2 inch touch and runs on Android 2.2 (FroYo). It features 528 Mhz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor and has 2MP camera. They officially launched the Facebook phone, Vodafone Blue last week. HTC Sensation XE Specifications and Price


HTC announced HTC Sensation XE, their first HTC phone with Beats audio today. HTC announced its partnership with Beats Electronics last month and promised to launch HTC devices with beats audio. The Clove UK, online retail site has revealed the price and the launch date of the phone for UK. The HTC Sensation XE runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), features 1.5GHz Dual core processor and has extended battery. LG Optimus Hub announced, coming in October

LG has announced another phone in the Optimus series, LG Optimus Hub, followed by Optimus Pro and Optimus Net. This phone is previously leaked in the LG road map this July. The LG Optimus Hub is said to be the successor of LG Optimus One, and it has 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen that is much brighter (550 nit). AT&T To Offer Three New Windows Phone Mango Devices In Q4 2011

AT&T recently announced that the company will offer 3 new smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, code-named as “Mango”. The new phones are Samsung Focus S, HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash.

AT&T currently offers 4 smartphones based on the Windows Phone 7 Operating System – HTC HD7S, HTC Surround, LG Quantum and Samsung Focus. AT&T recently announced that, the company will offer 3 new smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, code-named as “Mango”. IDC : Mobile Market in Western Europe Q2 2011 – Samsung, Apple, HTC top Smartphone vendors by shipments


According to recent report by research firm IDC (International Data Corporation), the Smartphone sales in Western Europe is more than the feature phone sales in Q2 2011. The feature phone shipments were down at 29% to 20.4 million units in 2Q11, while smartphone shipments increased 48% to 21.8 million units compared to Q2 2010. Bada 2.0 coming to all Samsung Wave devices

Samsung’s twitter account has let out the news that Bada 2.0 will be rolled out to all Samsung Wave devices including the low end Wave 525 , 523 models. The new version of Bada will be available starting Quarter 4 in Europe.

Mysterious Blackberry device shows up in China

Over at MaxPDA forum , a person has put up images of what appears to be a never before seen Blackberry device. While the poster claims it to be a 9980 , nearly everything on the device aligns with the Bold 9900. The design is particularly peculiar as it is unlike anything that RIM has done so far with their devices.

Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY coming to AT&T on September 18 for $49.99


Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, the first PlayStation certified phone would be available on AT&T in US from September 18th for $49.99 under 2 year contract. This would run on AT&T’s high speed HSPA+ network and the phone is called as Xperia PLAY 4G. AT&T announced in July they would launch the phone soon. It has Facebook Inside Xperia, a suite of Facebook functions integrated into phone book, Music player and gallery.
