Over at BlackBerry Live in Orlando, CEO Thorston Heins just unveiled the brand new BlackBerry Q5, a BB10 device with a QWERTY keyboard aimed at the budget-minded mass market. The device comes in various colours like red, white, black and pink. It is all set to launch this summer in various emerging markets. The BlackBerry Q5 was previously known or codenamed the R10, and it looks very much like a Q10 with vibrant colours in matte plastic.

Vodafone India has launched a new international roaming pack for its post-paid customers in India visiting countries like UK, USA, UAE, Singapore and Thailand. It offers over 90% discount on data and approximately 64% on outgoing local and international calls. This pack is aimed at customers travelling overseas during this vacation season. The pack offers over 90% discount on data with rates as low as Rs.50/MB while roaming overseas. Outgoing local and international calls will be charged at Rs. 25/min and Rs.50/min respectively. The E3131 Soft Wi-Fi Data Card offers download speeds up to 14.4 Mbps lets you share Wi-Fi for up to 5 devices and the Huawei Soft Wi-Fi lets you transform any laptop with a Wi-Fi adapter into a Wi-Fi hotspot with a simple software. Huawei has also announced new features for its data cards range including, Plan recommendation engine, Soft Wi-fi to create Mobile Hotspot, Windows 8 Support and user-friendly Mobile partner interface via software upgrade. After the successful Aircel Blog Up event in Delhi on March 15th, Aircel conducted the Aircel Blog Up Chennai edition on 10th May 2013. At the event, K. Nokia introduced the Lumia 925 at an event in London just now. At the event Nokia introduced the Smart Camera, a new app that would come pre-loaded on the Lumia 925. Nokia has also announced that the app would also come to select Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices. The Smart Camera lets you shoots a sequence of photos, making it easier to capture great moments, choose your Best Shot or combine the photos into one picture, make a strobe effect to emphasize motion, remove unwanted objects or choose the best faces for great group shots.

At an event in London, Nokia has just announced its next Lumia phone. Called the Nokia Lumia 925, it provides the features of the Lumia 920 in a slimmer shell. The phone has a metal band running around the body of the phone. The back plate ships in two colors, silver and grey. Over at the back you can spot an OIS capable camera at the back of the phone with an LED flash.
To build on the camera experience, Nokia has added in a new camera lens that tacks on a range of new features. It can take 10 images at one click for powerful new creative possibilities, such as Best Shot, Action Shot, and Motion Focus. This camera app will be rolled out to the entire Nokia portfolio via an update called the Nokia Lumia Amber update. The phone doesn’t support wireless charging internally but will be compatible with charging covers.

Spice Smart Flo Ivory Mi-450, the company’s latest budget Android smartphone is now on sale from online retailer Saholic. Spice has been teasing the phone on their official Facebook page. It has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It packs a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 5.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Xolo has officially launched the Q700, the company’s second quad-core Android smartphone in the Q Core series. Xolo launched the Q800, the company’s first phone with a quad-core processor back in March. The Xolo Q700 surfaced online recently. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589W-M processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
