WOO dating app for Android and iPhone launched in Delhi and Mumbai

WOO dating app that was launched last month in Bangalore, is now available for users in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Available for Android and iOS, the app is developed by U2opia Mobile that lets you connect with singles from the same city. The app is targeted at educated, young, single professionals between the ages of 25-35 years old, says the company. The app will be launched in Chennai soon. KitKat now on 24.5% of Android devices

Google has released the Android’s Platform Distribution numbers for the period of August to September 2014. This reveals gradual growth in KitKat share that has increased from 20.9% to 24.5% in one month. The growth is just 3.6%. Rovio Stars’ Plunder Pirates for iPhone and iPad to release globally on September 18

Rovio Stars released Plunder Pirates, a strategy game for iPhone and iPad back in June. The game is developed by Midoki that was featured in the recent Apple keynote as one of the key companies supporting games for Metal and the game is published by Rovio Stars. Coming to the game, it is a online multiplayer strategy game. You need to build a 3D base, recruit a crew of pirates, explore uncharted waters full of monsters and treasure, and attack and plunder rival players online.

We will have a dedicated store on Flipkart for Spice products, said the company. Apple introduced both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus few hours back. Both the iPhone models look exactly similar, have the same anodized aluminum back, new curved design, Apple A8 processor with M8 motion coprocessor,  Touch ID fingerprint sensor, NFC and more. These main difference it the screen size. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch (1334 x 750 pixels) screen, while the iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen. Apple Watch will be compatible with iPhone 5 onwards

Apple unveiled the Apple Watch, the company’s first smartwatch at an event few hours back. Since the company announced the Apple Watch along with the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, it was clear that the smartwatch would support those two iPhone models, but the company surprised us by announcing that it would support iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c and even the iPhone 5 model running iOS 8. Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core and Snapdragon 208 dual-core processors announced

Qualcomm has announced two new processor in the Snapdragon 200 series. The Snapdragon 210, the company’s latest quad-core processor has multimode 3G/4G LTE Advanced and LTE Dual SIM aimed at entry-level smartphones and tablets. The Snapdragon 208 dual-core processor has multimode 3G and can supports entry-level devices with displays up to qHD resolution. Apple iPhone 5s price drops to $549 for 16GB SIM-free version $599 for 32GB

The Apple iPhone 5s, the previous flagship device, gives way to the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus today, so naturally, it has received a price cut. During the keynote, Apple was careful enough to place the iPhone 5s on its slides, a nod to the fact that it will continue being one of the two 4″ iPhones you can still get. The device gets a 100$ price cut to 549$ for the 16 GB version while it’s 150$ lesser for the 32 GB variant, at 599$. The pricing has already been updated in the Apple store.

Apple iPhone 5c price drops to $450 for 8GB unlocked version

The tradition continues, with Apple announcing price cuts for the older iPhones that precede the brand new ones that launched today. The 5c, when it launched, had an unlocked price of 549$, while the 4S at the same time had its price cut to 450$. Now it’s the iPhone 5c’s turn, with it getting the same price cut to 450$ for the unlocked 8 GB version. Long rumoured to be a cheaper version of the iPhone, the 5c launched to poor reception last year. Apple was constantly pushing 5c through incessant marketing in several markets, especially in the past few months. This price cut will hence be the last stretch of shelf time for the iPhone 5c.

The company has announced the unlocked pricing for the iPhone 6 Plus as well along with the iPhone 6.
