Nokia Z Launcher Beta for Android now available on Google Play

Nokia launched the Z Launcher for Android in Beta back in June earlier this year and it has received several updated in the past few months after the launch. Nokia just announced Nokia N1, the company’s first Android tablet through brand-licensing agreement with the OEM partner. It has aluminium unibody build, has a 7.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display at 326 ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, similar to the Xiaomi Mi Pad, powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Nokia Z Launcher on the top, but it is not clear if this would have Google Play. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. MHL introduced MHL 3.0 with support for 4K last year. Now it has introduced an MHL Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) for the USB Type-C specification. Now a USB Type-C reversible connector can support the MHL 3 specification, which includes 4K video, ability to control your phone using the TV remote, and lossless surround sound audio. Mobile devices with USB Type-C MHL Alt Mode can also connect to HDMI legacy displays using adapters that support MHL-to-HDMI protocol conversion.

Google Nexus 6 made by Motorola is finally available for pre-order in India from Flipkart. It is priced at Rs. 43,999 for the 32GB variant and the 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 48,999. It comes in Midnight Blue and Cloud White colors and would ship early December. It first appeared on Google Play Store in India along with the price tag. The Nexus 6 has a 5.96-inch Quad HD screen, powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). YotaPhone 2 launch event set for December 3 in London

Yota Devices announced the YotaPhone 2 back in February at the MWC. The first generation YotaPhone was launched in December 2013 at an event in Russia and was launched in India recently. This year the launch event for the YotaPhone 2 is set for December 3rd in London. It will be an invitation-only event, says YotaPhone. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).

Vodafone could bundle Now TV with its Broadband

TalkTalk drops Vodafone for O2 4G

TalkTalk has announced that it is dropping its partnership with Vodafone in favour of a similar deal with O2’s parent company Telefonica.
