Coolpad has scheduled an event on November 30th to launch two new smartphones, Mega 3 and Note 3S in the country. The Coolpad mega 3 is expected to be a budget smartphone, while the Note 3S could be the successor of Note 3 that was launched last year. Xiaomi India today announced that it has sold over 2 million smartphones in the country in the third quarter of 2016 for the first time. This is over 150% growth compared to the same quarter (Q3 2015) last year, said the company. Last week the company said that it had sold 1 million units of Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime smartphones in just 3 months after launch in India on Flipkart.
