Canon today announced a new flagship PowerShot camera; the G1 X Mark III in the company’s G-series. It is much bigger than the G1 X Mark II model and has a familiar body of G5 X compact. After Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai and Hyderabad, Xiaomi has opened its first Mi Home Store in Mumbai, which is located at Phoenix Market City Mall. The store was inaugurated by founders of Poorvika Mobile. This is the Eighth Mi Home Store in the country after after three Stores in Bengaluru, one in Gurugram, Noida, Chennai and Hyderabad. As it had promised back in May, it now has stores in major Indian cities.

OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 4.5.13 update for the OnePlus 5, soon after the OxygenOS 4.5.11 and OxygenOS 4.5.12 updates that rolled out last week so this this has the same changelog such as improvements to launching speed of apps, support for customization of notification ringtone, bug fixes and Android security patch to September. Samsung has launched the Galaxy J2 2017, the company’s latest entry-level 4G VoLTE smartphone in India. It has similar specifications as the Galaxy J2 that was launched back in 2015, including a 4.7-inch qHD screen, 1.3GHz Exynos processor, 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, but the Android version is not known yet. Lenovo-owned Moto launched the Moto G5S smartphone, successor of the Moto G5 in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors in India back in August on Amazon.in. Today it has launched the Midnight Blue color variant of the smartphone in the country. Other specifications of the phone are same, including a 5.2-inch 1080p screen , Snapdragon 430 SoC, 16MP rear camera, metal unibody design, fingerprint sensor and a 3000mAh battery with support for Turbo charging.

Google has officially mentioned that the original Quality unlimited photo uploads from the latest Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will have an expiration date of 2020, after which the picture upload will be allowed in slightly lower ‘high-quality’ resolution instead of Original. Post this announcement; there has been slight confusion about the position of last year’s Pixel as they never had any such limit. Reliance Jio today reported Rs. 6,147 crore revenue and a net loss of 270.59 crore for its first quarterly financial performance for the period that ended 30th September, 2017. It reported Standalone earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 1,443 crore and EBITDA margin of 23.5%, and Standalone earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of 260 crore and EBIT margin of 4.2%. OPPO earlier this week confirmed it will unveil OPPO F5 smartphone in Philippines on October 26th. Yesterday it confirmed that it will launch the smartphone in India as well as Southeast Asia Markets including Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam soon.
