Google has pushed a new beta update to its Google app and this update details how the last remnant of Google Now will soon be killed. It also hints at some minor tweaks to Podcasts and Lens. It features a “deprecation_warning” for a widget. “Feed” is most likely to be removed since how it is the last piece linked to Google Now. Nokia 6.1 Plus (X6) with Snapdragon 636, Android 8.1 surfaces in benchmarks

Nokia smartphones, and the global version of the X6 with model numbers TA-1083 and TA-1116 were certified by Bluetooth SIG  last month. Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, dual front and rear cameras launching in India on July 26 exclusively on Amazon

Soon after Huawei’s Honor brand scheduled an event in India on July 24th, Huawei has scheduled an event on July 26th to launch a new Nova series smartphones – Nova 3 and Nova 3i in India exclusively on Amazon.in. Both these phones will  pack a 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, run Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 and a 24-megapixel front camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera, as well as dual rear cameras. The Nova 3 is powered by Kirin 970 while the Nova 3i will come with new Kirin 710 12nm SoC, both with GPU Turbo. Xiaomi Mijia Quartz Watch Hybrid Smartwatch with up to 6 months battery life announced

Xiaomi has introduced new Quartz Watch under its Mijia or Mi Ecosystem. It is a hybrid smartwatch that comes with a standard 40 mm dial that is just 3.2 mm at its thinnest point. The small dial shows step count and connects to Android or iPhone over Bluetooth. Call notification, Reminder and Alarm with vibration. It has a stainless steel case, water-resistant body and a curved back.

US commerce department lifts ban on ZTE after Final deposits of $1.4 billion penalty

The US Secretary of Commerce Department on Friday has lifted the ban on American firms selling products to China’s ZTE Corp. With this, the company is removed from all hurdles to start rebuilding its business. Moto E5 Play Android Oreo (Go Edition) with 5.34-inch 18:9 display, fingerprint sensor announced

Motorola introduced the Moto G6 series and the Moto E5 series, including the Moto E5 Play smartphone recently. Now it has introduced the new Moto E5 Play Android Oreo (Go Edition) version. It has a 5.34-inch  FWVGA+ 18:9 aspect ratio display compared to the 5.2-inch HD screen on the standard E5 Play model. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 425 SoC, but this has 1GB of RAM. Cameras, front-ported loudspeaker and the fingerprint sensor on the back, on the Moto logo are similar, but this has a slightly smaller 2100mAh battery. Huawei’s Honor brand just sent out invites for the launch of its next Honor smartphone in India on July 24th. The invite just has #NOORDINARYBEAUTY in Blue and Purple colors and two O’s that hint at a smartphone in different colors and dual rear cameras.

Apple with ten initial suppliers to invest $300 million into the China Clean Energy fund

Apple today announced an investment fund list that it is planning in China to connect suppliers with renewable energy sources. This as a part of Apple’s commitment to address climate change and increase the use of renewable energy within its supply chain. Along with 10 initial suppliers, Apple will jointly invest nearly $300 million over the next four years into the China Clean Energy Fund.

Vivo NEX S with 6.59-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor price surfaces ahead of India launch on July 19

Vivo introduced its NEX series smartphones – NEX S and NEX A in China last month, and the company already sent out invites for the launch of the smartphone in India on July 19th.  Now the price of the NEX S, the top-end version of the smartphone has accidentally been revealed through Amazon Prime Day promo. The image doesn’t reveal the full price, but the source code shows that it will cost that it will start at Rs. 48,990, almost same as the price in China. The smartphone will be available for pre-order exclusively on Amazon India from July 19th reveals the listing.
