Vivo NEX S with 6.59-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, in-display fingerprint sensor price surfaces ahead of India launch on July 19

Vivo introduced its NEX series smartphones – NEX S and NEX A in China last month, and the company already sent out invites for the launch of the smartphone in India on July 19th.  Now the price of the NEX S, the top-end version of the smartphone has accidentally been revealed through Amazon Prime Day promo. The image doesn’t reveal the full price, but the source code shows that it will cost that it will start at Rs. 48,990, almost same as the price in China. The smartphone will be available for pre-order exclusively on Amazon India from July 19th reveals the listing.

Update: Even though earlier rumors said that the phones will cost 5000 yuan, a new leak reveals that the Vivo NEX S with Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM and in-display fingerprint scanner will be priced at 4498 yuan (US$ 780 / Rs. 52,330 approx.)and the the Snapdragon 710-powered NEX will cost 3798 yuan (US$ 592 / Rs. 39,910 approx.),

Vivo NEX bezel-less smartphone with in-display fingerprint scanner to be announced on June 12

Vivo introduced APEX as the world’s first bezel-less smartphone with in-display fingerprint scanner and over 90% screen-to-body ratio at the MWC 2018 back in February. Last month the company released an image that said that the phone will be introduced at an event in Shanghai, China on June 12th. Today the company has confirmed that the phone will be called NEX.
