HONOR 20 Lite with 6.21-inch FHD+ display, 32MP front camera, triple rear cameras announced

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has announced the HONOR 20 Lite, the company’s latest smartphone in the HONOR 20 series, after it was introduced as HONOR 20i in China last month. It has a 6.21-inch FHD+ display with about 90% screen-to-body ratio,  Kirin 710 SoC with 4GB of RAM, Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0, 24-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots, 8-megapixel 120° ultra wide-angle lens and a 32-megapixel front camera with AI beautify features.

Hughes and Airtel to combine VSAT operations in India

Bharti Airtel and Hughes Communications India Ltd. OnePlus 7 with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, dual rear cameras surface in press image

After the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7 has surfaced in press shots. This shows the waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras and the alert slider on the right side, above the power button, similar to the OnePlus 6T. You can also see the small camera bump, and there are antenna bands on the sides of the phone since it has a metal frame. On the glass back, there is OnePlus logo below the flash, and also the OnePlus branding on the bottom part of the back. Google rolls out May 2019 Android security update for Pixel devices, also available for Essential Phone

Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The update for this month doesn’t have Pixel-specific patches, but Google says that it brings many functional updates and improvements to various parts of the Android platform and supported Pixel devices. New OPPO Reno with 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 32MP front camera, in-display fingerprint scanner gets certified

OPPO launched new Reno series last month, now a new PCDT10 / PCDM10 model with a 32-megapixel front camera has been certified by TENAA in China. This has a 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED Dewdrop notch display, 32-megapixel front camera compared to 16-megapixel, different dimensions, and also has a bigger 4000mAh battery compared to 3765mAh battery on the standard edition. It will be powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-Core SoC, which should be the Snapdragon 710, same as the standard edition Reno model.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 into space to take some shots and brought it back in functioning condition

Xiaomi has announced that it launched the Redmi Note 7 (Chinese 48MP version) into space and back. It traveled 35,375 meters above sea level, with external temperature of -58°C, internal temperature of 4°C, 1 KPA atmospheric pressure, and it was still working perfectly after it came back, said the company.
