Redmi K40 series with up to 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 to be announced on February 25

After posting teasers last month, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today confirmed the launch of its Redmi K40 series smartphones in China on February 25th. This was confirmed by Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing who already that confirmed that the pricing will start at 2,999 yuan (US$ 460 / Rs. 33,993 approx.) and the series will include a cost-effective phone powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 Mobile Platform which should be K40 Pro. MIUI 12.5 global roll out begins Q2 2021 – List of Xiaomi and POCO devices getting it

Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12.5, the next intermediate MIUI update in China back in December, and today it has confirmed the list of features that are coming as well as the Global roll-out details and list of devices getting it, as expected. Based on MIUI 12, the MIUI 12.5 has  a strong focus on system optimizations. After a complete revamp of the system UI, its CPU usage was reduced by up to 22% while power consumption – by up to 15%, ensuring frictionless performance and graphics, said the company. Xiaomi Mi 11 with 6.81-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888, 108MP triple rear cameras announced for global markets

Xiaomi just announced Mi 11, the company’s latest flagship smartphone for the global markets as it had promised. It packs a 6.81-inch E4 AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay with peak brightness of 1,500 nits, 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 480Hz and MEMC motion compensation. It has JNCD of 0.38 and uses its self-developed color calibration algorithm. The phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus that offers better scratch and drop resistance. Xiaomi confirms launch of new Mi MIX smartphone and a new tablet in 2021

Xiaomi’s recently posted a new video of Lei Jun in conversation with Mi Fan. Lei Jun has confirmed that Xiaomi will launch new MIX series smartphone and Mi Pad tablet this year. This news has also been confirmed by Xiaomi’s product director Wang Teng Thomas and other company executives. Xiaomi introduced the Mi MIX 3 back in 2018 and started rolling out the Mi MIX 3 in 2019. ASUS said to release a premium and compact Zenfone Mini smartphone in 2021

To remind you, the phone packs 6.39-inch HD+ punch-hole screen with 16MP front camera, is powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC, comes with a 48-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. OnePlus 9 Pro with 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz curved display, Hasselblad quad rear cameras surface in live images

After the CAD renders that surfaced last year, live images of the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro has surfaced, thanks to the YouTuber Dave2D who got hold of the images. It should be the prototype of the OnePlus 9 Pro, but it is not clear if this will be the final version. This shows Hasselblad branding in the quad camera module for the first time in a smartphone. We had already seen Hasselblad partnering with Motorola for the Hasselblad TrueZoom Moto Camera Mod. Earlier rumours said that OnePlus was in talks with Zeiss. It packs 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Exynos 850 processor with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android 11 with OneUI 3, comes with 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 5-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro sensor. Ever since Apple announced their App Tracking Transparency feature in iOS, companies such as Facebook and Google have trying ways to adjust their data collection practices while keeping advertisers happy.
