Daiwa, an Indian consumer electronics brand, has announced the launch of two new smart TVs for the Indian market – a 49-inch D50BT162 and a 55-inch D55BT162. These 4K TVs feature the BIGWALL UI powered by Android 9.0, HDR10 support, dbx-tv audio support and more.
HDM Global, the makers of Nokia smartphones, has announced that they have secured $230 million (Rs. 1715 crore approx.) in a funding round from their global partners including Google, Qualcomm and Nokia Technologies. This marks one of the largest funding raised by HMD Global in Europe in 2020 and it will be used towards realising HMD Global’s vision in smartphone space.

The Lookout app for Android is an app developed by Google that uses computer vision to help blind or low-vision people get information about their surroundings. Google has announced a new update to the app, adding two new modes, improved app navigation for better accessibility and also expanded the list of compatible devices.

realme today confirmed that it will introduce realme C12 and C15 smartphones with 6000mAh battery in India on August 18th. The realme C12 is an enhanced version of the C11 that was launched in India last month and the realme C15 was introduced in Indonesia a few weeks back. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today confirmed that it will introduce new Redmi G gaming laptop in China on August 14th. This comes after the RedmiBook 16 powered by Ryzen 4000 series processors were introduced back in May, and the new model is said to be powered by new Intel Core i5-10200H or it could be i5-10300H.
