Intex has launched Aqua Star 4G, the company’s latest 4G smartphone with new iData Saver feature powered by Opera Max. Samsung launched the Galaxy J2 with Ultra Data Saving mode powered by Opera Max. Intex becomes the first Indian brand to integrate Opera Max’s functionality into its operating system on its 4G smartphone. This feature will reduce data consumption by up to 50% on images, webpages and streaming, especially with image-heavy audio & video apps, such as Instagram, YouTube, Gaana and Saavn. Lenovo launched the Vibe P1m smartphone with a 4,000mAh battery in India in October for Rs. 7999 exclusively on Flipkart. We already brought you the unboxing and the battery test results of the smartphone, here we have its benchmarks. The Vibe P1m is powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 988MHz per core and has Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Sri City

Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in industrial township of Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, commercially. Airtel launched 4G services in 296 towns across India in August. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. Airtel has become the first telecom services provider to introduce super fast 4G speeds in Sri City. Tap to Translate for Android to offer instant translation within apps, coming in Q1 2016

At the Google for India event in Delhi, Google announced that it will release a new feature called Tap to Translate that allows the instant translation of any text on the Android phone. This new feature, you can copy text anywhere on your Android phone and instantly get the translation. Google said that the Translate app will also be updated to offer real time translation in Hindi. It demoed the real-time translation and Tap to Translate features at the event.

YouTube to get improved buffering when videos are paused in India in coming weeks

Good launched YouTube Offline in India for Android and iOS in India back in December last year, after it was announced at the Android One even in September so that people can watch videos without Internet access after downloading them. Today, at the Google for India event in Delhi, the company announced that it will launch a new YouTube feature that will improve buffering when videos are paused. Google to launch free RailWire WiFi in train stations in India starting from Jan 2016

Google announced back in September that it will launch a new project to provide high-speed public Wi-Fi in 400 train stations across India, with 100 stations operational by the end of 2016. At the Google for India press event in Delhi, Google said that it is is working with Indian Railways and Railtel to launch RailWire Wifi to provide free WiFi in train stations in January 2016.
